This position will play a key role in helping to achieve or Business
Unit's mission to grow the business through the following
responsibilities:
- Maintaining and improving manufacturing processes through the use of
LEAN methodology.
- Utilizing statistical analysis (Six Sigma) to lead improvement in
safety, quality, and productivity.
- Establish, maintain and improve standard work operating procedures.
- Provide day to day shop floor support to maintain customer
commitments.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution for both production equipment
and product issues.
- Provide product launch support for design changes and cost improvement
actions.
- Specify and Purchase Equipment for Production.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor of
Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Technology with 2 years or more experience:
- Manufacturing processes and methods including LEAN, flow, layout,
assembly and production equipment.
- LEAN manufacturing experience a plus.
- Self motivated, with the ability to work on many projects
simultaneously and meet established project schedules.
- Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated
ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to support multiple shift operations from a day shift
position.
